Bach Flower Remedies at Golden Healing
In the early 20th Century Dr Bach developed a complete system of
38 flower remedies, each prepared from the flowers of wild plants,
trees or bushes.
These essences taken in the form of drops, work specifically on the
individual emotional condition of the person concerned. They help
to restore peace of mind and a positive attitude, thereby allowing
the body to regain its strength through its own healing process.
The Bach Flower Remedies are 38 homoeopathically prepared plant and
flower based remedies that are made according to the traditions of
Dr Edward Bach. Each remedy is specially devised to treat a different
feeling, and helps the body to manage the emotional demands of everyday
life. This safe and natural therapy allows the body to heal itself
by balancing negative emotions, bringing peace and relief from suffering.
A Bach consultation will take about an hour. This time will be spent
in exploring emotions that are causing concern, and the choice of
appropriate remedies to suit the client’s requirements. All
consultations are held in the strictest confidence.
These gentle remedies are used worldwide by private individuals, medical
and complementary health practitioners, psychotherapists, counsellors,
dentists, vets and healers. They can safely be taken by people of
all ages from newborn babies to elderly people. They are also beneficial
for animals and plants.

Dr. Edward Bach (1886-1936). In his short career as a physician
and bacteriologist, he moved from orthodox medicine to developing
a natural form of medicine to treat emotional and spiritual health,
very much in tune with the trends in natural health today. From an
early age, Dr. Bach had been aware that people’s personality
and attitudes have an effect on their state of health.
In the later part of his life he moved to Mount Vernon, a small house
in Oxfordshire, where he continued treating patients, writing books
and searching for further remedies. Once he had developed 38 remedies
together with the Rescue Remedy he knew that no further remedies were
needed.
In November 1936 he died in his sleep and entrusted responsibility
for the continuation of his work to friends and colleagues, whom he
had trained. Today the Bach Centre at Mount Vernon is actively involved
in advice and education and continues to prepare these beautiful healing
remedies. |
