Chocolate has been found to lower high blood pressure. An ingredient (Flavonols) in Cocoa can boost the production of Nitric Oxide, a compound
which is critical in keeping blood pressure at a safe level. Source

However, New Scientist (6 April 2002 page 16) reports that Chocolate
may aggravate a sleep disorder in about 1 in 200 people resulting
in them unknowingly act out violent nightmares. The disorder is known
as rapid eye movement sleep behaviour disorder, or RBD. It mostly
effects men.

Researchers in the Netherlands suggest that Vitamin B6 may help to
prevent fatty build-up in those at risk of arterial disease. They
found that the vitamin decreased homocysteine levels significantly.
The Doctors in Amsterdam conclude that B6 vitamin supplements decease
the risk of heart and circulation problems which are associated with
