Reiki at Golden Healing

Reiki is the Ancient Tibetan Art of Healing by touch. It was re-discovered in the late 19th Century by Dr. Mikao Usui, a Japanese theologian. The word Reiki (pronounced 'ray-key') means 'Universal Life Force Energy', and it is this vital force energy that flows around and throughout all living things.

This safe and natural healing therapy involves a simple light touch technique applied through clothing. Reiki energy is drawn through the healer's body from the source of Universal Energy, and is channelled through her hands to the recipient.

The person being treated usually experiences a feeling of warmth and deep relaxation as the energy directs itself naturally to wherever it is needed the most. It works to re-balance the body's Chakra system, circulating goodness and peacefulness throughout the entire being, whilst gently releasing energy blocks that can cause tension and illness.

Reiki supports and complements other medical and natural healing techniques. It benefits every kind of physical and emotional problem, revitalising and refreshing mind, body and soul.

A Reiki treatment at Golden Healing will last approximately one and a quarter hours. This treatment helps to bring a quiet space into your life, where problems can quite literally drift away for a while. It is a most relaxing therapy, recharging your energy levels and bringing peacefulness to your system.

Estelle is a fully qualified Reiki Master and Teacher (training information). She has been practising Reiki since 1998 and uses this wonderful therapy throughout her treatments and in her own personal life. She works intuitively and with sensitivity, helping to bring this special healing treatment to you.
